Sabyasachi Chandra is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder of StartupFox, a Bengaluru-based startup media platform covering founders, startup stories and ecosystem updates. His journey began during college, when he built a delivery startup from his hometown during the Covid period. Since then, he has worked across logistics, elderly care and media, gradually building his understanding of product, operations, marketing and distribution through real market execution.
Sabyasachi graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from MAKAUT between 2019 and 2023, securing an 8.78 CGPA. While still in college, during the Covid period, he started Rabbate with a team of five hometown friends. Rabbate was built as an intercity goods and food delivery app for Tier 3 towns, where access to popular dishes and products from nearby cities was limited. The team created a hub-based delivery system that allowed orders from nearby cities to be collected, routed and delivered efficiently to customers in smaller towns. In 11 operational months, Rabbate scaled to 5+ Tier 3 towns and generated ₹12L+ in revenue.
The turning point in Sabyasachi’s journey was moving from building small-town operational businesses to understanding the power of distribution. Rabbate taught him logistics, customer demand and execution. Tacare, his elderly care venture started in 2024, taught him trust, service quality and the limits of scaling without the right market fit. With StartupFox, he applied those learnings to media and community building. Instead of only creating content, StartupFox focused on startup stories, founder visibility, ecosystem conversations and platform-led distribution across LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram and the website. He also started PetitionFox, which is a public petition platform that helps people raise their voice against unfair experiences with brands and services. It gives individuals a way to document issues, gather support, and bring attention to problems that deserve accountability.
Today, StartupFox has grown from around 100 people reading its content in the first month to 11M+ content engagements across platforms. The audience includes founders, investors, startup operators and ecosystem professionals. Sabyasachi later built StartupFox Production and launched RAW Talks, a podcast series featuring Indian founders and startup voices and founders from the previous season of Shark Tank India. His journey reflects a practical founder path: starting in Tier 3 markets, learning through failed and successful experiments, and eventually building a media platform around startups, founders and distribution.
