Valar Atomics Raises $1 Billion in Sequoia-Led Round at a Reported $6 Billion Valuation

Sabyasachi Chandra

Valar Atomics has raised $1 billion in equity led by Sequoia Capital, with partner Shaun Maguire joining the board, plus a $200 million credit facility from Erebor and other banks.

The $6 billion valuation was reported by Bloomberg, not disclosed by the company, and would be roughly triple a $2 billion mark reported five months earlier.

Part of the $1 billion was earlier described as having been raised at a lower valuation, leaving it unclear whether a reported $450 million from March sits inside or beside this round.

The company reached reactor criticality in Utah in June 2026 under a DOE programme, but has disclosed no revenue, order book or power purchase agreement.
