UpKraft has raised ₹1.6 crore, roughly $180,000, in a pre-seed round led by the accelerator PedalStart, with participation from unnamed angel investors.
Valuation, dilution, instrument, student enrollments, tutor numbers, revenue and pricing were all left undisclosed.
The business rests on clustering students inside gated communities, which raises tutor utilisation and cuts acquisition cost, and that mechanism matters far more than the AI layer.
The company was founded in July 2025 and describes the round as a foundation for validating its model before institutional capital, so the meaningful test is the next raise rather than this one.
