Ultraviolette Raises $85M, Taking It to $151M Against ₹32 Crore of Revenue

$85 million co-led by Yali Capital and TDK Ventures, with semiconductor veteran Lip-Bu Tan investing personally and joining as an advisor. Disclosed fundraising reaches $151 million since August 2025.

FY25 revenue was ₹32.3 crore against a ₹116.3 crore loss, with 547 vehicles registered. Planned capacity is up to 500,000 units a year.

Employee costs of ₹59 crore exceeded material costs of ₹33 crore in FY25, which is the expense profile of an engineering company rather than a volume manufacturer.

The investor list, TDK, Yali, Qualcomm Ventures and Tan, points at the battery and powertrain platform rather than the motorcycle brand as the thing being backed.
