Safebox Raises $1.11M to Map What Indian Families Own Before Anyone Has to Look

$1.11 million seed led by an unnamed family office, with Claypond Capital's Sekhar Garisa among the angels. The company launched publicly in June 2026.

Safebox is built on the RBI's Account Aggregator framework, so financial data arrives through consent-based, read-only rails. It can see holdings but cannot move or trade them.

More than ₹6,000 crore of family assets are recorded on the platform. That is assets under record, not under management, and carries no fee the way an AUM figure would.

The SEBI Investment Adviser registration points at a possible route to revenue through advice, since a record-keeping product would not obviously require one. Pricing has not been disclosed.

The unsolved problem is everything Account Aggregator does not reach: gold, property, unlisted shares, foreign assets. Those need manual entry and manual updating, and they are exactly the holdings…
