Three years after a $3 million seed, also led by Accel, the company has raised $4 million. Records show headcount around 65 in August 2025, down about a fifth year on year.
Fundly started as a lender and moved into commerce and payments, which is the reverse of the usual path and the sounder direction, since transaction data is what makes credit underwriting work.
Tamil Nadu accounted for around 55 percent of business at the 2023 seed. Pharma distribution is licensed and relationship-driven state by state, so geographic expansion is slow and expensive.
