Cactus Partners has said it is targeting ₹1,600 crore for its second fund, roughly 2.5 times the ₹630 crore maiden fund it closed in February 2024.
The reported plan is 13 to 15 investments, initial cheques of ₹60-100 crore, and leading $10-20 million rounds with $6-10 million of its own capital.
The Fund II sector list leads with robotics, semiconductors, defence and spacetech, a shift from the clean tech, health tech and enterprise software framing of the first fund.
No first close, anchor investor, LP commitment or timeline has been announced, and no realisations from Fund I have been publicly detailed.
