Blacksmith has raised $45 million in a Series B led by Peak XV Partners at a $550 million valuation, with Y Combinator and GV participating, taking total funding to $58.5 million.

The valuation is roughly nine times the $60 million mark at its Series A eleven months earlier. The round actually closed in March 2026 and was announced in August.

Most of the money goes into compute. Blacksmith runs hundreds of thousands of cores and plans to expand that roughly tenfold.

The company says CI jobs on its platform are growing 5% to 10% week on week, and that more than 6,000 companies now use it, up from around 800 last September.
