Ather Energy reported ₹1,217 crore in Q1 FY27 operating revenue, up 89% year-on-year, with loss before tax narrowing to ₹51.09 crore from ₹178.2 crore.
The improvement came from cost discipline rather than pricing. Total expenses of ₹1,310.74 crore were almost unchanged from ₹1,314 crore in the preceding quarter.
Revenue per vehicle fell sequentially to roughly ₹1.37 lakh from about ₹1.41 lakh, as volumes grew faster than revenue.
Excluding ₹43 crore of other income, the loss on operations alone is closer to ₹94 crore, and the company has not yet published EBITDA, gross margin or material costs for the quarter.
