Zepto and its investors are discussing a post-money IPO valuation of about $3 billion (₹29,000 crore), with a pre-money figure near $2.5 billion.
The offer under discussion is a primary issue of roughly ₹5,000 crore with a small offer for sale, against the ₹8,010 crore fresh issue proposed in the June updated DRHP.
Institutional investors reportedly sought a 30-40% cut and rejected Zepto's benchmarking against Eternal and Swiggy, which carry food delivery businesses.
Nothing has been decided. The valuation, the structure and the timing are all open, and none of the figures has been confirmed by the company or filed.
