Suminter Raises ₹25 Crore Debt From BlackSoil to Finance Harvest Procurement

Suminter has secured ₹25 crore in debt from BlackSoil Capital for seasonal procurement.

The company says it works with more than 100,000 farmers across India, the Philippines and Africa.

The financing can help Suminter secure certified crops before export receivables arrive.

Debt avoids shareholder dilution but increases interest and repayment obligations.

Inventory movement, operating margins and interest coverage will determine whether the borrowing creates value.
