SolarSquare secured $53 million in a Series C funding round led by B Capital, bringing its total capital raised to over $100 million.
The funding round reportedly values the rooftop solar startup between $450 million and $500 million.
The fresh capital will fund expansion into 30 to 40 new cities and the scaling of home-energy solutions, such as battery storage.
The company's growth is heavily accelerated by the government's PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which offers subsidies of up to ₹78,000 for residential solar installations.
