Slayd aggregates from 300-plus marketplaces and D2C brands, adds a lakh products monthly, and scores them across eight-plus signals. It claims 200,000 users and month-one retention above 40 percent.
Slayd Originals, its private label, uses that trend data to decide what to manufacture, which turns a discovery feed into demand sensing for inventory.
That also makes Slayd a competitor to the brands it recommends. At 1,000 orders a month the conflict is theoretical, and it grows as the label succeeds.
Indian fashion discovery has a difficult history. LimeRoad built a large audience and was sold to V-Mart; Wooplr and Voonik did not survive the gap between attention and revenue.
