Around ₹1 lakh of that monthly figure is interest on a claimed ₹1.5 crore fixed deposit, which is yield on a liquidated asset rather than income from the restaurants.
₹1 lakh a month on ₹1.5 crore implies 8% a year gross, at the top of the July 2026 general-public range and before tax at slab rate.
The friend is unnamed, the town and restaurants are unidentified, no revenue figure is given and no trading period is stated. Nothing in the post has been verified.
