House of Student raised $2 million in a seed round combining equity and debt, co-led by Saltwater Sutra and Nirmitsu Inspirational Ventures, announced on 28 July 2026.
The company was founded in February 2025 by Vaibhav Verma and operates a booking and housing network management platform from Gurugram and the United States.
It claims more than 2.5 million verified student rooms across over 25 countries and competes with Uhomes, Amber and Uniplaces.
The equity-debt split, valuation, dilution, revenue and booking volumes are all undisclosed, and the room count is a listings figure rather than a measure of bookings or revenue.
