CureMeAbroad Raises $1.1M to Send Western Patients to Surgeons in Turkey, Mexico and India

The $4.8 million run rate is treatment bookings, not revenue. The company's commission is undisclosed, and its $100 million FY2028 target is also a bookings figure.

The Booking.com comparison is apt but stretched: the provider pays the platform that advises the patient, and surgery is high-stakes, bought once, with reviews that are sparse and arrive late.

Moving from cosmetic procedures into orthopaedics and oncology raises the stakes on aftercare once patients return home, where complications fall on doctors who were not involved.
