Arboreal Bioinnovations has raised ₹230 crore in a Series A co-led by EAAA and Omnivore, with Rainmatter by Zerodha participating, announced on 30 July 2026.
The round is the first investment from Edelweiss Alternatives' second Discovery Fund and equals close to a fifth of that fund's ₹1,200 crore-plus corpus.
The company started as a vertically integrated stevia producer and is spending this money to move into proteins, cocoa ingredients and functional fibres, each a separate manufacturing problem.
No valuation was disclosed and no FY25 accounts are publicly filed, so the customer count of 1,100 is the only scale figure on the record.
