AM Intelligence has placed a binding order for around 9,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs as Vera Rubin NVL72 systems, for a 30 MW Hyderabad AI factory with delivery slated for Q1 2027.
The order is a capital commitment, not a funding round, and is the first tranche of a planned 1 GW compute-as-a-service network with stated capex above $8 billion.
AMI is the AI infrastructure arm of AM Group, controlled by Greenko co-founders Anil Chalamalasetty and Mahesh Kolli, whose thesis is converting renewable power into AI compute.
Wider plans include about 5 GW of AI data centres and a separate $25 billion Greater Noida hub; these are announced targets, with committed customer demand not yet disclosed.
